Network Aggregation

Fleet Connect aggregates multiple networks together into a seamless connection for the vehicle. While many refer to this as link aggregation, or network bonding, our approach goes far beyond the ordinary. Using our patented multi-path technology, we manage data at the packet level - so every piece of data, whether from a video stream or a work call, can take the best possible route to and from the internet. The result? Consistently high performance and reliability, even in challenging conditions.

SIMs & Data

Through our partners we can provide SIM cards, eSIM profiles and data worldwide at competitive rates.

With multiple SIMs per device or the latest eSIM technologies, our platform can enable switching between SIMs or Profiles as you travel between or across countries to manage performance and cost considerations.

Active, Passive, or Hybrid systems

Fleet Connect is hardware-agnostic and works seamlessly with a wide range of routers, switches, and access points, supporting active, passive, and mixed-hybrid architectures. Gigabit-per-second throughput is achievable in any configuration—though nothing beats the simplicity of a modern active design using the EDGE Rail.

Our patented distributed architecture enhances on-vehicle resiliency and minimises the amount of data traversing internal vehicle networks, by using the distributed compute capabilities to spread processing loads across the cluster of devices, improving responsiveness for latency-sensitive applications. By decentralising decision-making and workload execution, the system reduces bottlenecks and accelerates real-time operations - critical for modern connected fleets. While removing single points of failure.

Satellite Connectivity

Fleet Connect has been operating in production with low eath orbit (LEO) Satellite Communications (Satcomms) and EDGE Rail active antennas since 2024.

Adding Satcomms to a new or existing system allows it to have even greater coverage where terrestrial cellular coverage is weak or non-existant, enhancing customer's experience and productivity on the move.

APIs

Fleet Connect provides a set of APIs to enable integration with your existing systems: on-vehicle Edge Api, from Data Lake, Asset Management, ITSM; alerts, incidents, changes.

Zero Touch Configuration

Fleet Connect's portal allows authorised users to create templates defining the complete network architecture and operational characteristics.

Over the air deployments and updates allow these configurations for regular new releases, firmware updates, and emergency security updates to be pushed across fleets quickly and easily.

Trackside Integration

Fleet Connect supports integration of trackside networks. These can be used as the main way to get internet to the train over long distances, or in places like stations you can offload large amounts of data quickly such as CCTV footage to reduce data costs.

Edge Computing

Our hardware can be leveraged to run additional applications on the edge. Usually containerised, this can remove the need to add expensive new hardware, while simplifying installation and maintenance.

 

Managed Service & Operational Support

Fleet Connect delivers ITIL-aligned service management with 24/7 support, accessible via a secure, multilingual ITSM portal where tickets can be managed in real time.

The Fleet Connect Portal provides full visibility of fleet operations, with both live and historical insights. From high-level fleet health to detailed metrics on networks, devices and data usage, teams can quickly monitor performance and investigate issues.

Automated alerting minimises manual intervention by creating incident tickets and using AI to accelerate resolution. Our API enables seamless integration with your existing ITSM tools, including access to detailed asset information down to individual SIMs.

Service Level Agreement performance is continuously tracked through the portal, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Dedicated account and service teams provide ongoing support through regular reviews, roadmap collaboration and innovation workshops.

Design & Installation Services

Through our in-house teams and trusted partners, we have extensive experience in all aspects of design and installation for transportation connectivity systems.

Our mechanical engineering team provides detailed CAD designs and works closely with operators, manufacturers, and vehicle owners to deliver cost-effective, long-lasting solutions. Engineering documentation is supplied as required.

Field engineers from our headquarters, regional offices, or key partners are fully trained in our products and can be on-site at short notice for activities ranging from first-of-class installations to RMAs and hardware upgrades.
