Inductive Speed Sensor
Inductive speed sensor for reliable motorsport rotational speed measurement.
This inductive speed sensor generates a voltage output when exposed to a changing magnetic field created by ferromagnetic teeth passing beneath the sensor. An internal magnet eliminates the need for magnets in the target, while output voltage increases with rotational speed and reduced air gap. Designed for demanding motorsport environments, the sensor is suitable for use with interfaces that trigger on threshold or zero‑crossing detection. Its robust, hard‑anodised aluminium body, compact form factor and resistance to vibration, fluids and high temperatures make it well suited to applications such as cam, crank, gear and wheel speed measurement.
