True position zero speed sensor using differential hall effect technology

True Position Zero Speed Sensor

TPZS sensor with DHE technology for motorsport use.

The True Position Zero Speed (TPZS) sensor incorporates a Differential Hall Effect (DHE) sensing element with additional signal conditioning to provide thermal compensation and true zero‑speed operation. The sensor produces an output when exposed to a changing magnetic field generated by ferromagnetic teeth passing beneath the sensing face, with an internal magnet removing the need for magnets in the target. The TPZS sensor responds to magnetic field changes down to 0 Hz, enabling accurate detection at very low or zero rotational speeds. Its compact, hard‑anodised aluminium body and resistance to vibration, fluids and elevated temperatures make it suitable for demanding motorsport environments.
